Here’s some more information about the course and what you can expect.
A two-day, employer-informed Step2Skills course introducing facilities-management working environments and practical workplace and employability skills. It is not a regulated facilities-management qualification or licence.
You'll explore FM roles and employer expectations and develop skills in customer service, professional communication, site readiness, workplace behaviours, reporting, teamwork and progression.
Through practical face-to-face learning including discussions, workplace scenarios, customer-service practice, reporting and handover activities, teamwork exercises and an FM Readiness Challenge.
There is no external qualification exam. Your tutor uses practical activities, questions, scenarios and course work to see how your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.
Your progress and achievement are recorded through ROMAN's Step2Skills Record of Achievement process. This is not an accredited qualification certificate, FM licence or occupational card.
You'll agree a realistic next step based on your goals. This could include employment support, an employer opportunity where suitable, further training or another appropriate progression route. Completing the course does not guarantee an interview or job.

Yes. The learner course fee is £0 if you are eligible for a funded Step2Skills place.
