A practical two-day Step2Skills course designed to help you build routines, deal with everyday setbacks and feel more prepared for work or learning.

It is a non-clinical learning course not therapy, counselling, CBT treatment or a mental-health assessment.

You'll explore practical ways to manage everyday pressure, break tasks into smaller steps, build a routine, prepare for setbacks and ask for support when needed.

Through face-to-face activities, realistic scenarios, planning exercises and discussions.

You can use general or fictional examples; you do not have to share private personal experiences

There is no external exam and you are not assessed on how anxious, stressed or confident you feel.

Your tutor assesses the practical activities and planning tasks you complete during the course.

 

Your progress and achievement are recorded through ROMAN's Step2Skills Record of Achievement.

This is not a clinical qualification, therapy certificate or counselling qualification.

You'll leave with a realistic plan for your next step.

That could include returning to learning, continuing your job search, preparing for work, another suitable course or accessing appropriate support where needed.
