Course Overview Modern slavery is happening all around us often hidden in plain sight. With an estimated 130,000 victims in the UK alone, this course shines a light on the issue, giving learners the awareness and knowledge they need to spot the signs and take action. From forced labour and debt bondage to sexual exploitation and criminal trafficking, this course explains what modern slavery is, who is most vulnerable, and how traffickers recruit and control their victims. You’ll also learn how to respond if you suspect modern slavery and explore the role of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the National Referral Mechanism.
