This course is designed to equip supervisors and managers with the knowledge and skills to support and promote mental health in the workplace. You'll learn to recognize signs of stress, identify the workplace factors that contribute to mental health issues, and discover how to create a culture of positive mental health. Through this course, you'll understand the key areas that lead to work-related stress and the importance of mental health interventions. You’ll also explore how to assess mental health risks and implement effective support systems, including recruiting and training Mental Health First Aiders.
What You’ll Learn By the end of this course, you will be able to: Define Mental Health and understand the impact of poor mental health in the workplace. Recognize workplace factors that contribute to mental health issues. Create and implement Risk Assessments to address mental health at work. Introduce the role of Mental Health First Aiders and how they can support your workplace's mental health culture. Develop a Mental Health Policy and Action Plan for a supportive work environment.
